Checking the various parts with multimeter
You can check the battery in DC Voltage range in multimeter
You can check resistance in Ohms range.
You can check ringer, speaker and various parts in buzzer mode.
When checked it shows some resistance from one side and also shows infinite resistance from another side.
2.LED It is also checked in buzzer mode.
It is also a type of diode. When checked it glows from one side does not glow from another side.
3. Condensor / Capacitor : It is also checked in buzzer mode.
When checked it shows infinite resistance.
4. Filter Condensor: It is also checked in buzzer mode.
When checked value increased and then slowly decreased
5. Coil: It is also checked in buzzer mode.
When checked it shows some resistance then it is ok.
6. Fuse: It is also checked in buzzer mode.
When checked it buzzer of meter generate beep sound then it is ok.
7. Transistor: There are three electrodes in transistors.
It is also checked in buzzer mode.
all transistors give continuity base to collector and base to emitor from one side.
8. Resistor: It is checked in Ohms range
It shows resistance value of the resistor.
9. Speaker: It is also checked in buzzer mode.
When checked it shows some resistance.
10. Mic: It is also checked in buzzer mode.
It shows resistance from one side and less resistance from another side.
11. Vibrator: It also checked in buzzer range.
It shows some resistance when checked. It can be also checked through digital DC power supply. To check vibrator from digital power supply machine we need to give 1.5 to 2.5 volt DC.
12. Switch: It is also checked in buzzer mode.
When checked buzzer beeps while pressing switch. Without pressing it shows infinite resistance.
13. External Antina It is also checked in buzzer mode.
It shows 0 zero resistance.

Checking Batteries Using Multimeter
If you are using AutoRange multimeter then you don't need this step.
Now touch the black prob of meter to Negetive (-) point of the battery and red prob to Positive(+) point of the battery If meter shows 0 (zero) volt means, This battery neither be used with mobile phone nor it will start charging.
By giving shock we can re use such kind of batteries. Apart from this if multimeter shows some volt means this battery can be used and can easily be charged.

If battery shows 0.00 volt means battery is deeply discharged.
2. When we give shock to the battery and digital power supply machine shows some voltages, for example 1.5 volt means battery is usable.
3. If digital power supply machine shows 0.00 volt means battery is not usable.
4. We can also use this digital power supply machine to give power supply to the mobile phone,
in that case we need to set digital power supply machine to 3.6 volt.
